Gobbler Day

The weekend started off with the 2nd annual turkey ride. Rob and Pete braved the thunder and lightening (until a pizza joint caught their eye) and made it to Port in one piece. Spidzbuks was once again ready to congratulate the boys with beer and pepperoni.

Grandma wants to make sure that her granddaughters actually know how to cook a thing or two in the kitchen unlike me.

Showing a little heart

Who would have thought that Thanksgiving weekend would be warm enough for a little bare bum.

Victoria the cat made an appearance at the craft show.

A month of celebrations

We finally got my side of the family together to celebrate 4 birthdays and my parents 40th Anniversary (wow!). We also got a chance to meet "The New Girl" who we hope sticks around even though she was ridiculed a bit.

I'm 4 Mama, I'm really 4

For weeks Spidzbuks has been talking about turning 4. She had a strong belief that by turning 4 she would become a "big girl". She's a sweet and sensitive little thing who loves to ask why, what does that word mean and why, why and more why? Can't wait to see what this year holds.

Spidzbuks starts school!

Crazy but true- she's started JK. First day went off without a hitch- a quick kiss was blown to Mama and Papu and she scooted up the stairs with her classmates. We have learned a lot about the monarch butterfly in the first few weeks such as: butterfly poop is called frasse, only green coccoons are called chrysalis and that sometimes butterflies like to go to Mexico in the winter (only the strong ones of course).
