A little Pelite

I find so many of the posts revolve around the older sister and little Pelite is not equally represented on this blog. So here are a few pics- growing like a weed! Not to be out done by her sister, she took two wobbly unassisted steps today.

Paris to Ancaster Race

Papu and Rob have been gearing themselves up for their first big cycling race. The girls wanted to show their support by sporting new shirts.Both of the guys completed the 60km (gasp) race in respectable times and more importantly with all limbs still attached and functional.
Congrats guys!

While celebrating Easter we had the chance to see the first (and hopefully last) rehearsal of the Port Colborne kazoo team.

Happy Easter!

It was a whirlwind easter weekend starting with Uncle Mark coming to renovate our bathroom in between having friends and family over for dinner. Spidzbuks also started off on a low note with a bad cold. We have never seen her lie so still for so long. It didn't take her too long to recover especially with the thought of chocolate running through her head.

We first celebrated Papu's birthday (thanks Heather for the cake).

The kiddies then went on the fastest egg hunt ever.

Spidzbuks had an unfortunate encounter with a table while hunting.

Matiss enlisted the help of Johans to help search for eggs. Johans gathered eggs at a breakneck pace and happily passed them on to big brother.

The Easter Bunny also visited dropped off some treats.

Pupolu Svetdien

Spidzbuks has been practising for another show to entertain the elder latvians. This day revolved around something loosely translated to being beaten with pussy willows (at least I think that is how I understood it).
Our lucky girls once again got dressed in their adorable outfits and we headed to a local church for some songs, dancing and smoked fish.

Partying with friends

The girls headed out to Nathan's first birthday party which was really a party for the older siblings. After endulging in a little KD and some birthday cake, the kids headed outside. The swing was an absolute hit. In true Spidzbuks fashion, she decided it was time to go home once she realized that when you leave the party you receive a loot bag.
