Latvian gifts

Pacu returned from Latvia bearing many gifts. Who would have thought that a long itchy wool skirt would be such a popular item??

Let me tell you a story

Spidzbuks wanted to read Mark a story- see if you can guess which one she is reading!

A trip down memory lane

When I was little, I used to visit my neighbour Mrs. Bennett to have tea with her. She would always have a tray of brownies and actual sugar cubes. I don't think I knew anyone else at that time who used sugar cubes so this was quite a big deal. She had many fancy tea cups to choose from but my favorite was always the pink one with the butterfly handle. I was given the tea cup when she passed away and had tucked it away for safe keeping.
As anyone with a 3 year old knows, there is no such thing as tucking away something for safe keeping. Spidzbuks found it the other day and figured because it was pink with a butterfly then it must be hers. It was like it was meant to be.
Cheers to Mrs. B!

Girls vs Boys

Tante M came down to visit recently and gave the rugrats a chance to play. It is crazy to see how much they have changed in just a month. These kids certainly don't look like they have ever missed a meal!

Divi Brali

Spidzbuks performed once again with her Latvian friends at the annual school fundraiser. The play was called Divi Brali (two brothers) and she played the challenging role of a little lamb. She even managed to remember her line (baa baa).
Stage fright is a thing of the past and she was quite happy to pose for pictures and little toe tapping. We could be in trouble with this one!
