Merry Christmas to all.
We had a great time at grandma and grandpa's house celebrating the big day. The girls were completely spoiled and we have only gotten through Christmas with half of the family. We hope that Santa was good to all of you.

Latvian School Party

Spidzbuks had an opportunity to try her hand at performing in front of masses of her Latvian countyfolk at the Christmas bash. Bribed with candy- she did an outstanding job and brought tears to her parents eyes. While on stage, the budding performer hiked up her dress, adjusted her underwear and tights and then carried on with the show. We are so proud of her.






























Papu and Pacu worked hard in the kitchen to create the meal for the gang of 100.
































And of course there was lots of craziness and a visit from Santa.

All in a day's work

Pelite absolutely loves bouncing. Today however, she was a bit tired and after two minutes she was a rag doll. Of course, instead of immediately rescuing her we decided it would be best to take pictures. We think she gets this ability from Uncle Lacitis who would fall asleep at the table at Christmas.

It was all fun and games until....

Papu thought it would be fun to teach Spidzbuks how to stick a button on her face without it falling off. It made for some cute pictures but then we realised that we were encouraging her to stick a small object in her mouth. Trying then tell her that this was no longer a good game did not go over very well. Mama and Papa obviously have a lot to still learn about that thing call responsible parenting.
